Filled with joy.
Acts 13:52, And the disciples were continually filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.
Despite their rejection by the Jews, and the opposition they faced, they recognized God’s hand in extending the Gospel to the Gentiles. “And when the Gentiles heard this, they began rejoicing and glorifying the word of the Lord; and as many as had been appointed to eternal life believed.” Do we really believe that God is in control?
We can rejoice as we know that You are in control; fill us with Your Holy Spirit and the fruit of the Spirit, despite our circumstances.
