They turned to the Lord.
Acts 9:34-35, And Peter said to him, “Aeneas, Jesus Christ heals you; arise, and make your bed.” And immediately he arose. And all who lived at Lydda and Sharon saw him, and they turned to the Lord.
While the miracle of healing is certainly wonderful, the fruit that it bore was even more wonderful. Healing of the body is limited and temporal; turning to the Lord is eternal. Peter was walking as Jesus walked, so attuned to what the Father is doing that he could confidently see that Aeneas was healed. How is my walk today; do I look for the ways that the Lord wants to move in order that others may be healed and turn to Him?
Open my eyes to those whom You want to touch, those who are ready to turn to You today.
