Glad tidings of good things.
Romans 10:12-15, For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call upon Him; for “WHOEVER WILL CALL UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD will be saved.” How then shall they call upon Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent? Just as it is written, “HOW BEAUTIFUL ARE THE FEET OF THOSE WHO BRING GLAD TIDINGS OF GOOD THINGS!”
The early disciples were told that as they waited upon the Holy Spirit He would imbue them with power that they should be His witnesses. He made it clear that we are to go make disciples of all nations. Too often we look far across the world when He is calling us to love our neighbors as ourselves. We who have heard have been sent to bring glad tiding of good things!
Open my eyes to see those whom You are calling to faith; give me boldness, help me to be a good witness in thought, word and deed.
