Fight the good fight of faith.

1 Timothy 6:12, Fight the good fight of faith; take hold of the eternal life to which you were called, and you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

Paul challenges Timothy, and by implication each of us, to be actively pursuing all that is available. He sees faith not only as a gift, but as a battle, worthy of effort.. He sees faith as something to be pursued actively and tenaciously, something of eternal value. And he sees our life as having meaning to others as we make our confession of trust in Jesus by our confession. Our confession progresses even today as we touch the lives around us with His love, power and grace. Who might the Father be calling that we can touch?
