The word of the Lord.
Acts 12:24, But the word of the Lord continued to grow and to be multiplied.
Herod died; he was a victim of his own ego, allowing himself to be worshiped by a fawning populace, without giving the glory to the One who is worthy. We have to wonder just how it is that other tyrants are allowed not only to exist, but to flourish. We know that there is a limit to this, and that He is coming again not as savior but as judge and reigning king. And we have time now to see His word grow and multiply in our own time!
Help us to be faithful in all that You call us to do; let Your word continue to grow and multiply in our own hearts, today!
