Comfort those who are in any afflictions.
1 Corinthians 1:3-5, Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. For just as the sufferings of Christ are ours in abundance, so also our comfort is abundant through Christ.
We don’t really need to seek out afflictions; they will come in their own good time. And we can be sure that there is a purpose, that we might be able to comfort others, by the power of God. We are blessed in so many ways, have we lost sight of the sufferings of Christ? When the afflictions come, we know that there is a purpose!
We thank You that You are able to use everything in Your incredible plan, Lord!
