You have been bought with a price.

1 Corinthians 6:20, For you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body.

We caught a tiny glimpse of the price He paid in the movie released last year, the passion that Christ had for us. Even before He paid that price, He “thought it not robbery” to depart His glory and become one of us, yet without sin. And in His glory on the mountain of transfiguration, or the agony before the cross in the garden, He could have decided to return to glory right then. It’s as I heard someone say recently that He could see our faces before Him as He did what we could never do. Do we really see our very bodies as the temple of the Holy Spirit?

Keep us aware of Your presence, that we may flee immorality, that we may be Yours O God!
