By His doing you are in Christ Jesus.

1 Corinthians 1:30-31, But by His doing you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption, that, just as it is written, “LET HIM WHO BOASTS, BOAST IN THE LORD.”

Paul makes it crystal clear that all of our worldly wisdom doesn’t measure up to even the foolish things of this world, much less the incredible wisdom of God. We see this all around us in nature itself, with life in abundance so varied and complex that scientists spend their whole lives to understand only a small part of something as tiny as a single cell. Fortunately we are in Christ “by His doing” and not by our own wisdom!
