That you may not be quickly shaken.

2 Thessalonians 2:1-2, Now we request you, brethren, with regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and our gathering together to Him, that you may not be quickly shaken from your composure or be disturbed either by a spirit or a message or a letter as if from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come.

Deception is certainly nothing new under the sun, obviously there were those who set out to deceive others by a false testimony. Today the Internet has raised deception to a whole new level, from phony emails to web sites that mimic legitimate sites to try to acquire personal information. We know where this deception comes from, and that there are many whose eyes are blinded to "by the gods of this world" and cannot see the truth of Jesus Christ. Perhaps we will be able to bring His light into someone’s life today?

We pray for Your light to shine, for eyes to be opened, ears to be unstopped, that they may come to know You, Lord Jesus.
