Who is able to stand?

Revelation 6:15-17, And the kings of the earth and the great men and the commanders and the rich and the strong and every slave and free man, hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains; and they said to the mountains and to the rocks, "Fall on us and hide us from the presence of Him who sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb; for the great day of their wrath has come; and who is able to stand?"

We see in this scripture that even those who are arrogant because of their worldly power will one day know that they are unable to stand in the presence of a Holy God. We are all here for a reason, for His purpose. Even though there are those that boast that they do not need Him, there are those around us who are seeking Him! And He is empowering us to reach them.

Open my eyes to those whom You want to reach today with Your amazing grace, Lord! Thank You that You have given us the power to stand!
