Be zealous therefore, and repent.
Revelation 3:19-20, 'Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline; be zealous therefore, and repent. Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him, and will dine with him, and he with Me.'
Fortunately He does not treat us with the same apathy that we sometimes treat Him. He makes it clear in this reading that even though the church of Laodicea was lukewarm, He is not. He is always ready to receive us when we are ready to turn around and go another way. When we open the door, we can be sure He will not reject us!
Thank You for loving us even when we do not deserve it; teach us to love others with Your amazing love. Kindle Your fire within us that we may have Your desire!
