Partaker in the tribulation and kingdom and perseverance which are in Jesus.

Revelation 1:9, I, John, your brother and fellow partaker in the tribulation and kingdom and perseverance which are in Jesus, was on the island called Patmos, because of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus.

We read over and over in this book of the price of testimony, of the perseverance of the saint who .did not love their life,. and who gave their testimony in the face of grave danger. We heard this morning in a monthly group from a lady who was a lawyer in communist Romania, who did just that, even facing down a professional assassin, leading him to Christ. She made it absolutely clear that it was not by her own power and might, but by the power of God in Jesus Christ that she was spared. Give thanks that she is committed to using her ability to handle the truths contained in our own laws, as she did even in communist controlled Romania, to fight for our rights to be free!

Give us Your mighty strength to use our own testimony to .push back the darkness. wherever we can, Lord Jesus.
