Listen to Him!
Luke 9:35, And a voice came out of the cloud, saying, "This is My Son, My Chosen One; listen to Him!"
We find it easy to presume what we should be doing, about what is important. We offer up our own ideas, assuming that our knowledge is somehow superior; sometimes we even think less of others because of what they are doing. Perhaps it would be better to come into His presence in silence, and allow Him to speak to us? Those on the mountain saw Him in His glory, and even so did not recognize that they should listen to Him first. Can we listen to Him before we speak?
We know that when You are in Your Holy temple, all the earth is silent before You; we look to You for our direction in all that we do, O Lord!
