"I will not forget you."

Isaiah 49:14-15, But Zion said, "The Lord has forsaken me, and the Lord has forgotten me. Can a woman forget her nursing child, and have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, but I will not forget you."

There are times when we feel this way. And in this life, we find situations as dire as a mother who forgets her nursing child, who has no compassion for her, as impossible as this seems. Even though we may be treated this way here on earth, we know beyond knowing that there is One who loves us enough to go to the cross, enough to take the weight of the sins of the world, enough to die that we might live. No matter how we feel, He will never forget about us.

Thank You that we have Your promise that You will never forsake us and that You will be with us to the very end!
