Is there any other rock?

Isaiah 44:6-8, “Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts: ‘I am the first and I am the last, and there is no God besides Me. And who is like Me?Let him proclaim and declare it; yes, let him recount it to Me in order, from the time that I established the ancient nation. And let them declare to them the things that are coming and the events that are going to take place. Do not tremble and do not be afraid; have I not long since announced it to you and declared it? And  you are My witnesses. Is there any God  besides Me, or is there any other Rock? I know of none.’”

He who has established time itself has given us His most perfect gift, Jesus Christ our Lord. He who abandoned His glory to be born into this world was there before the beginning of time—the first and the last. He is not surprised by anything that takes place, and He encourages us “do not be afraid.” He sends us forth now, on the wind of his Spirit, as His witnesses!

We lift our sails without fear into the wind of Your Spirit!
