Whoever is of God.
John 8:47-48, “Whoever is of God hears the words of God. The reason why you do not hear them is that you are not of God.”
This is both exciting and humbling. It’s exciting to realize that if we can hear even the faintest word of God, that we are of God. And it’s also humbling to know that only by His amazing grace are we able to hear at all! We have no room for any kind of pride when we realize that He is the one who opened our ears to hear in the first place!
We thank You Lord, for enabling us to hear Your word; give us the strength to keep Your commandments!
