Manifested his glory.

John 2:11, This, the first of his signs, Jesus did at Cana in Galilee, and manifested his glory. And his disciples believed in him.

Jesus made it clear that he was not in submission to his mother, but saw what his Father was doing, and did likewise. The simple act of filling the jars with water could produce nothing other than water. Yet his glory is revealed when the servants drew some out and the master of the feast confirmed it to be better than the wine served at the beginning. How wonderful that this should take place at a wedding and transform the disappointment of too little wine into the celebration of the glory of the Son of God. And this celebration is just a hint at what will one day be the most glorious celebration as Jesus takes his bride, the church!

Thank you for manifesting your glory in celebration, come soon Lord Jesus!
