The will of him who sent me.

John 6:38-40, For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will but the will of him who sent me. And this is the will of him who sent me, that I should lose nothing of all that he has given me, but raise it up on the last day. For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.”

What amazing grace we have, for no one can come unless the Father calls them. Even our faith is a gift of God, leaving no room to boast or have any pride whatsoever. We have been loved and called even when we are running away from him! O how wonderful, how marvelous is his goodness towards us! We who have looked upon the Son and believed in him rejoice, that others may come to know him as the way, the truth and the life, the bread of heaven, the source of living water, our redeemer!

How amazing that you should call us and empower us to be yours, to use us in bringing your truth and light into this dark world!
