Finally, brothers, rejoice.
2 Corinthians 13:11, Finally, brothers, rejoice. Aim for restoration, comfort one another, agree with one another, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.
Paul writes 1 Corinthians 13 about love, and in this letter he exercises tough love, challenging the believers to receive a higher calling and to recognize that God is for us, not against us. For while we were dead and without hope, he sent his only begotten Son that whosoever believes in him might not perish but have eternal life! How can we not rejoice? How can we not seek to restore, comfort and agree with each other? In him we have the peace that passes all understanding!
As we receive your love, let us freely give!
