My brother and sister and mother.
Mark 3:34-35, And looking about at those who sat around him, he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers! For whoever does the will of God, he is my brother and sister and mother.”
Jesus isn’t dismissing his own family, who came out of concern for him. Rather, he welcomes those who follow him, doing the will of God. We have been welcomed into his family; are we seeking to do God’s will?
Thank you for adopting us and for revealing your will to us; carry us on the wind of your Spirit!
