Whoever speaks... whoever serves.

1 Peter 4:10-11, As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

What would happen if we take the time to think about every word we speak as though it were an oracle from God? And consider every act to be of service done by the strength He gives us, to bring glory to His name? He is the one who enables us to speak and gives us the strength for daily life, can we use what He gives us to serve and edify each other?

Give us Your grace to use the gifts You give us to serve and edify others and bring glory to Your name.
