I know that my Redeemer lives.
Job 19:23-27, “Oh that my words were written! Oh that they were inscribed in a book! That with an iron stylus and lead they were engraved in the rock forever! And as for me, I know that my Redeemer lives, and at the last He will take His stand on the earth. Even after my skin is destroyed, yet from my flesh I shall see God; whom I myself shall behold, and whom my eyes shall see and not another. My heart faints within me.”
This is one of the most amazing scriptures, from one of the oldest books we have! Jesus would later tell Peter that “Flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but My Father which is in Heaven.” Job is nearly beside himself in physical pain and torment from his supposed friends; he records this amazing truth. Our Redeemer is alive after having taken his stand upon the earth, and even now intercedes for us at the right hand of the Father!
Thank You for faith; for Your assurance that we are not abandoned to the grave.
