Kind to all.
2 Timothy 2:24-26, And the Lord’s bond-servant must not be quarrelsome, but be kind to all, able to teach, patient when wronged, with gentleness correcting those who are in opposition, if perhaps God may grant them repentance leading to the knowledge of the truth, and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, having been held captive by him to do his will.
If this is good advice for working with others in ministry, it’s worth considering for everything that I do. I find it much easier at work not to do these things. It’s become a habit to get upset when wronged or to ride rough shod over someone, especially when I know I’m right. How much better would every endeavor be if I subscribed to His way?
I need Your help to overcome my own shortcomings; help me to integrate this with every part of my life, that I might win the right to lead someone else into Your truth, O Lord!
