Proof to all men.

Acts 17:30-31, "Therefore having overlooked the times of ignorance, God is now declaring to men that all everywhere should repent, because He has fixed a day in which He will judge the world in righteousness through a Man whom He has appointed, having furnished proof to all men by raising Him from the dead."

Paul respects those whom he addresses, honoring their interests in religious matters, recognizing and quoting one of their own poets and using one of their own monuments to open their eyes to the good news of Jesus Christ. There are many, even today, who proclaim their own ideas of religion; yet there’s only One who not only proclaimed “the Way,” but who also is “the Way, the Truth and the Life.” And He has proven His authority by being raised from the dead!

We put all of our trust in You, Lord Jesus Christ, for we know that our redeemer lives!
