Acts 16:3, Paul wanted this man to go with him; and he took him and circumcised him because of the Jews who were in those parts, for they all knew that his father was a Greek.

How hard it is to let go of the past – it seems strange that Paul and Silas were carrying the messages of freedom in Christ to the churches and yet Paul still felt bound to the law. What do we need to put at the foot of the cross?

Lord, show me what I need to lay at Your cross, that I may move into Your abundant freedom in Your grace!
