A living God.

Acts 14:15, and saying, “Men, why are you doing these things?We are also men of the same nature as you, and preach the gospel to you in order that you should turn from these vain things to a living God, who made the heaven and the earth and the sea, and all that is in them.”

Men like a nice, safe god, one of their own making, not a dangerous, powerful, almighty God of all creation. And yet our Almighty God has sent us the good news – His Son, begotten, not bade by man, to live a perfict life, to di as our atonement and to be raised and to ascend as our coming King!

Thank You for delivering me from my tiny idols into Your vast kingdom of light, dear Father!
