Cheerfully.

Acts 24:10, And when the governor had nodded to him to speak, Paul replied: “Knowing that for many years you have been a judge over this nation, I cheerfully make my defense.”

Paul stands before the governor, falsely accused, and yet respectful and cheerful, knowing that he has the opportunity to tell him of the hope that is within him. Do we look for those opportunities even when false accusations are brought?

Give us Your grace to tell others of the hope that we have no matter what the situation!
