Things too wonderful for me.
Job 42:1-3, Then Job answered the Lord, and said, “I know that Thou canst do all things, and that no purpose of Thine can be thwarted. ‘Who is this that hides counsel without knowledge?’ Therefore I have declared that which I did not understand, things too wonderful for me, which I did not know.”
Job had questions for God; he quickly came to the realization that the One who created the universe, setting the stars and establishing the foundations of the earth did not need his opinion. We see His glory revealed all throughout nature and the more we know about the universe, both large and small, the more His hand of wisdom is revealed. One day every knee shall bow and every tongue confess the Jesus Christ is Lord!
We confess You as our Lord and Savoir now, Jesus! “Let all the earth keep silence before Him!”
