Christ is the head of every man.

1 Corinthians 11:2-3, Now I praise you because you remember me in everything, and hold firmly to the traditions, just as I delivered them to you. But I want you to understand that Christ is the head of every man, and the man is the head of a woman, and God is the head of Christ.

Isn’t it interesting that the focus of so many people today is on the relationship with the man and the woman, not on the divine order? The real problem is that too many of us men have abdicated our place and responsibilities in this divine order and refuse to be spiritual leaders in our families, leaving our frustrated wife to do what God intended us to do. If we as men were truly submitted to Jesus Christ, then there would be no controversy about the second part.

Lord, I want You to be my head that I may be all that You intended in my family.
