What then shall we say?

Romans 4:1-3, What then shall we say that Abraham, our forefather according to the flesh, has found? For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about; but not before God. For what does the Scripture say? “AND ABRAHAM BELIEVED GOD, AND IT WAS RECKONED TO HIM AS RIGHTEOUSNESS.”

Our amazing salvation is from God and Him alone. Our own good works are us nothing to boast about, for even our faith itself is His amazing gift to those who believe. As we believe God, and trust in His promises through the cross, we are saved. What amazing good news!
