For the Father loves the Son.

John 5:20, “For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself is doing; and greater works than these will He show Him, that you may marvel.”

Jesus was so intimate with the Father that He knew exactly what the Father was doing. What if I had the same attitude, in seeking to know Him better each day, what if I asked Him to show me what He is doing with the attitude of willing obedience that Jesus had? Am I satisfied to accept only His grace in the gift of salvation?

I want to know You better each day, Lord, to know better what You are doing.
