Are we better than they?

Romans 3:9-12, What then? Are we better than they? Not at all; for we have already charged that both Jews and Greeks are all under sin; as it is written,“There is none righteous, not even one; there is none who understands, there is none who seeks for God; all have turned aside, together they have become useless; there is none who does good, there is not even one.”

We who have recognized and accepted His amazing grace have to be humbled by this. Paul knew quite well all that he had done to revile the name of Christ, and most of us are in that same fix. For some amazing reason, He has called us to come under the blood of Jesus, He has saved and justified us through the horror of the cross. He sends us out to find others whom He has called, not wanting any to perish.

Thank You that You have rescued me despite my own rebellion; use me to rescue others!
