Forever, O Lord, Thy word is settled in heaven.

Psalm 119:89-96, Forever, O Lord, Thy word is settled in heaven. Thy faithfulness continues throughout all generations; Thou didst establish the earth, and it stands. They stand this day according to Thine ordinances, for all things are Thy servants. If Thy law had not been my delight, then I would have perished in my affliction. I will never forget Thy precepts, for by them Thou hast revived me. I am Thine, save me; for I have sought Thy precepts. The wicked wait for me to destroy me; I shall diligently consider Thy testimonies. I have seen a limit to all perfection; Thy commandment is exceedingly broad.

“The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever.” Even when we are faithless, God is faithful. “Go and make disciples … and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age..” “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee” “First of all, then, I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, for kings and all who are in authority, in order that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.” “Therefore I want the men in every place to pray, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and dissension.” “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” Will we now pray without ceasing?

We know that in the darkest night the stars shine more brightly; teach us to pray that great revival may yet come to our nation and spread like wildfire to the entire world. Come soon, Lord Jesus! We give thanks that Your are in control, O Lord!
