A better covenant.

Hebrews 8:6, But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, by as much as He is also the mediator of a better covenant, which has been enacted on better promises.

The old covenant showed the futility of the law, for the law has no power to save. It can only bring us to our knees, knowing that we cannot live up to its requirements. It is only in Christ that we can be set free, that we can have His perfect law put in our minds and written on our hearts. And it is only in Him that we become the righteousness of God.

We thank You for all You have done, for the power available by Your Holy Spirit for today that we may walk in Your love.
