God shows no partiality.
Acts 10:34-35, So Peter opened his mouth and said: “Truly I understand that God shows no partiality, but in every nation anyone who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him.”
We see in this passage the amazing extending of God’s grace beyond the chosen nation of Israel in Jesus Christ. As the gentiles hear Peter’s message of Jesus, the Holy Spirit falls on them just as it had on the disciples! “And the believers from among the circumcised who had come with Peter were amazed, because the gift of the Holy Spirit was poured out even on the Gentiles.”
We rejoice in the salvation available in Your name, Lord Jesus; fill us with Your spirit to be Your witnesses today!
