Heaven opened.

Revelation 19:11-13, Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse! The one sitting on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and makes war. His eyes are like a flame of fire, and on his head are many diadems, and he has a name written that no one knows but himself. He is clothed in a robe dipped in blood, and the name by which he is called is The Word of God.

This time of year, there can be a let-down after all the excitement of the Christmas season, especially if the emphasis is just on sales and bargains! The amazing story of the Word become flesh is far more than that of the baby Jesus, God with us. He came for a divine purpose, ultimately to set His face like a flint toward the cross, to redeem as many as receive Him. And He has give us a promise to return, not as an infant but as the righteous judge of all! He offers us the amazing invitation to “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” He offers us rest for our souls! When will He return?

Maranatha: Come quickly, Lord Jesus!
