From God.
3 John 11, Beloved, do not imitate evil but imitate good. Whoever does good is from God; whoever does evil has not seen God.
Paul gives us this same wise council in saying “Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.” Do we weigh everything we do by this standard: “Is it from God?” On my own I know that I will often fail. For it is “not by might, nor by power, but by Your Spirit.”
Lord, increase our faith; fill us with Your Holy Spirit and let Your light shine in this dark world!
