The throne of grace.
Hebrews 4:14-16, Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
We see that Jesus became one of us, yet unlike us in that He lived a perfect life, to be a perfect sacrifice to set us free from the power of sin and death. When we stumble and even fall, we know that He was tempted in the same way and can sympathize with our weakness. And most amazing of all, by the power of His sacrifice on our behalf, we are able to come boldly before His throne of grace to receive His mercy and grace whenever we need it. I need it every day!
We thank You that we can always turn to You and boldly approach Your throne of grace, to receive mercy and grace and strength for today!
