Love covers a multitude of sins.
1 Peter 4:7-8, The end of all things is at hand; therefore be self-controlled and sober-minded for the sake of your prayers. Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins.
Love breathes life into all of the other gifts of the Spirit; it was God’s love for the world that He sent us His Son, who lived the perfect life, gave His life to satisfy God’s justice in our place and who rose as the first-born of many. The good news is that all of this, even our faith, comes from God and is secured by Him. He loved the unlovable and now gives us the power to do the same as we pray for those who already believe and also those who so desperately need Him. Who knows whom He will be pleased to call to life as we plead for His mercy?
We thank You for Your patience, not desiring that any should perish, but that all should come to know You as Lord and Savior!
