Full of light.

Matthew 6:22-23, “The eye is the lamp of the body. So, if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light, but if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light in you is darkness, how great is the darkness!”

Jesus came to give sight to the blind, and we see him healing the physical blindness of some who were considered beyond hope because of sin. He not only healed their eyes, but opened the eyes of their heart to their need to repent and receive forgiveness of sin. He has given us the Holy Spirit who is able to turn the light on in the darkest places. As we get closer to the Lord, the light increases and allows our eyes to see how much we need his cleansing. Are we willing to let his light shine, to confess our great needs, to repent and go with him even further to obtain the healing that we need, that we may be full of light?

Give us the courage to allow your light to shine that we may receive healing as we confess our great need!
