A grain of mustard seed.
Luke 13:18-19, He said therefore, “What is the kingdom of God like? And to what shall I compare it? It is like a grain of mustard seed that a man took and sowed in his garden, and it grew and became a tree, and the birds of the air made nests in its branches.”
We have these tiny miracles all around us, some that look like a spec of sand or dust, but they contain within the marvelous gift of life and the ability to grow roots, and to transform seemingly dead soil into a marvelous plant that sustains life! He has sown us as the seeds of his kingdom, and wants to see us grow in his righteousness and strength that we may be a blessing to others, even to those who do not yet know him. How will I grow in him today?
Give us your living water, and let us stay in your light that we may grow in you as your kingdom comes!
