In him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell.

Colossians 1:19-20, For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross.

There are those who say that Jesus was a great teacher, but ignore what he said about himself. “I am the way, the truth and the life; no one comes to the Father but by me.” “Before Abraham was, I AM” using the sacred word for God to describe himself. The miracles that he did, from turning water to wine, to walking on water, calming the storm, multiplying the loaves and fish, and finally raising Lazarus from the dead after three days in the tomb confirm his deity. Who do I say that he is?

Son of God, Son of Man, my redeemer, my Lord; I worship you and proclaim in the words of Thomas, “My Lord and my God!”
