Not even his brothers believed.
John 7:5, For not even his brothers believed in him.
Many had turned away from Jesus. The ruling authorities were seeking to kill Him. And even His own family did not believe in Him, yet He knew His purpose, and that His time had not yet come. “The world cannot hate you, but it hates me because I testify about it that its works are evil.” Should we be surprised if we encounter hostility from the world?
Give us the strength for today, to be faithful in the face of opposition.
