The light of life.
John 8:12, Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
He has brought sight to the blind, but in order to see we must have light! It’s far too easy to stay in the darkness, for “people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil.” He calls us to walk in the light, to follow him. As we come into his light, we may not like what we see, but He is not surprised by what he sees! He is always ready to give us His cleansing touch; am I ready to receive it and walk in his light?
