Blessed.
Luke 1:45, “And blessed is she who believed that there would be a fulfillment of what was spoken to her from the Lord.”
Mary accepted the announcement by Gabriel in saying “Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word.” And we know that this kind of faith is supernatural, “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.” Later, a woman would tell Jesus “Blessed is the womb that bore you, and the breasts at which you nursed!” to which He replied “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and keep it.” Give thanks for His gifts, especially our own faith!
We thank You for Your word and for the strength to keep it!
