To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit.

1 Corinthians 12:4-7, Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of service, but the same Lord; and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who empowers them all in everyone. To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.

How wonderful, that He has sent us another comforter, the Holy Spirit. And how wonderful that He wants to be active for the common good in each of us. Jesus tells us “If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him?” Are we willing to receive His gifts for the common good as He wills?

Thank You for giving us Your gifts as You will that we gladly receive for the common good; come, Holy Spirit!
