“The Lord has a controversy with the nations.”

Jeremiah 25:30-31, “Therefore you shall prophesy against them all these words, and you shall say to them, ‘The Lord will roar from on high and utter His voice from His holy habitation; He will roar mightily against His fold. He will shout like those who tread the grapes, against all the inhabitants of the earth. A clamor has come to the end of the earth, because the Lord has a controversy with the nations. He is entering into judgment with all flesh; As for the wicked, He has given them to the sword,’ declares the Lord.”

The scriptures make it clear that the tide of evil will not rise forever. Jesus says that there is a day coming when the He will be revealed just as in the days of Noah, “they were eating, they were drinking, they were being given in marriage” and destruction came upon them. We know that He has provided the ultimate answer to all evil in the saving power of the blood of Jesus Christ. Are we asking Him to use us today in changing the hearts of others?
