His praise shall continually be in my mouth.

Psalm 34:1-8, I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make its boast in the LORD; the humble shall hear it and rejoice. O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt His name together. I sought the LORD, and He answered me, and delivered me from all my fears. They looked to Him and were radiant, and their faces shall never be ashamed. This poor man cried and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles. The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear Him, and rescues them. O taste and see that the LORD is good; how blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!

We need more praise in our lives! How often do we look for ways to criticize when we pass over opportunities all around us to give praise to other people, much less God! In praising Him we repulse the power that seek to kill and destroy and open possibilities for Him to move. Think of the angels encamped around as we lift His name in praise!

“Let the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable in Thy sight, O Lord my God and my Redeemer!”
