On the next day.

Numbers 16:41-49, But on the next day all the congregation of the sons of Israel grumbled against Moses and Aaron, saying, “You are the ones who have caused the death of the LORD’S people.”

Rebellion is in our nature. And intercession is our role, as it was for Moses and Aaron. They stood in the gap against the plague of the Lord that took another 14,700 people that day. And that is our role, to stand in the gap in a culture that mocks God, His Holiness and His provision for us in Jesus Christ. We know that He is slow in bringing judgment; not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

We stand in the gap for our own time, interceding that even those who mock Your name would come to a knowledge of Your amazing truth and Your provision for us all in Jesus Christ.
