Love covers all transgressions.

Proverbs 10:11-12, The mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life, but the mouth of the wicked conceals violence. Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all transgressions.

James tells us that our tongue is like a fountain; does it produce fresh or bitter waters? Are we able to control what we say, not only thinking about it but allowing time for the Holy Spirit to give us His wisdom? We are covered by His amazing love. Are we able to be as gracious to others?

We need Your wisdom and power for today to speak the truth in love, Lord.
